Campion College, a liberal arts institution established in 1917 is the only Jesuit Undergraduate College in Canada. It is federated with the University of Regina and offers bachelor’s, diploma and certificate programs across various academic lines that include Arts, Media, Art & Performance and Science.

Since the Application form given is common for all the candidates applying to the University of Regina, one has to choose Campion as their campus of choice to get admitted into Campion College.

  • Applicants can apply through U Regina Application Portal or through U of R Application Form
  • Admissions are open for Fall, Winter & Spring/Summer sessions. However, international applicants can only apply for fall and spring semesters.
  • International applicants may have to provide country-specific requirements.
  • All international applicants may not have to submit proof of English Language Proficiency.
  • Conditional admissions may be offered to international applicants if they are unable to fulfil ELP requirements.

Campion College Admissions 2023-2024 Requirements for Canadian Students

Grade 12 or equivalent. An average of 65 per cent is required by most faculties; Engineering is 70 per cent and Education is competitive.

Campion College 2023 Requirements for International Students

Applicants who have graduated from a non-Canadian high school are required to have achieved secondary level standing and must meet the course, average, and any other requirements of their chosen faculty. Admission is typically based on up to 6 secondary courses and will include the specific courses required by their chosen faculty.

Campion College 2023 Procedure for Canadian Students

Campion College requires a formal copy of the student’s school transcripts, a completed application for admission form, and a $60.00 application fee (cheque or money order payable to the University of Regina). A student profile is not required. Students are admitted by the University of Regina and must meet their admission requirements for undergraduate admissions.

Visa Requirements for International Students

To Study in Canada, an International Applicant needs to acquire a Study Permit ad a temporary visa. The document requirements for the two are mentioned below. The completion of this process may take up to 3 months.

  • Requirements for a study permit are as follows:
    • A valid passport
    • Application fee ( billed in CND)
    • Evidence of sufficient funds

English Language Proficiency Requirements

Non-native English Speaking Applicants should establish their English Language Proficiency to gain admissions into the college however, with some exemptions.

  • Students from Countries who have completed three formal years of education from an accredited Secondary School or College with English as a primary language of instruction.
  • Students who successfully complete the English as a Second Language program or a minimum score of 55 in ELP Placement Exam offered by the University of Regina.
  • Completion of a minimum of 24 credit hours in a Post-Secondary Institution along with a minimum grade point average of 60%.
  • At least a grade of 3 in Advanced Placement English or a minimum grade of 4 in International Baccalaureate Higher English.
  • Certain Test Scores will also be accepted. Check below for details on the type of tests and their corresponding minimum required scores.

Even if a candidate fails to submit ELP scores, he might be offered a letter of acceptance by the College on a conditional basis. Also, the University of Regina offers to provide English as a Second Language Program to its International Students under its Continuing Education programs.
